  • I actually have a few different questions regarding the audio hardware/firmware integration of the DAC:
    
    Do both the the pro and non-pro version of the phone come with the exact same audio hardware?
    
    Could you please give me some more specific specs for that the phone's playback via its headphone jack (e.g. SNR, output power and what headphone impedance it's able to drive without distortion)?
    
    Given the audio limitations written into the stock Android OS (though marginally better, this includes Lollipop), was a method found to natively play audio files at their original sample rate and bit depth? For example, if I were to play lossless music from an app like Tidal, will it be resampled destructively (as all non-48khz music is when mushed through androids audio architecture) or has a way been found to send 44.1khz, 96khz, or even DSD audio streams to the DAC with bit-perfect, squeaky clean goodness? If not, has a specific media player app been programmed that needs to be used to gain access to the hi-fi audio pathway (as is the case with Sony's zx-line DAPs, Acoustic Research's M2, USB Audio Player Pro's access to OTG DACs, etc.)?
    
    Thank you so much for your help, I hope this isn't too technical but you're known for making fantastically high end equipment and I'm betting some vey discerning customers could be persuaded to switch to Xiaomi after hearing the detail (yup, that was totally punintentional).
