Even though this is (or was) the chinese version, which is the one I got , it works perfectly for me so I'm giving it 5 stars, I've never feel in love so fast for a device, not even for an iPhone, and I have to say, I've used iPhones for four years straight, my only concern was how big it was but after a week it felt nothing but totally normal for me, some times of course it feels a little big, it's a solid 5 stars product for me.

Phone came fast. Was very well packaged. Luckily there is quite a bit on the internet about this phone. So, for instance, I found out how to correctly install google play on it. I did find it almost funny that you can't use voice commands because the phone only understands chinese. Battery like seems pretty good, Phone is nice looking and fits well in my hand. Sim and memory card were easy to install and worked easily. I'm very happy with it. Do wish they made it easier to get rid of chinese only apps.

I have had xiaomi mi note pro phone for a week now. So far, I must say that I am very impressed! Here are my thoughts:
Screen and size:
The 5.7" screen hits the sweet spot for me. The 5.7" screen offers good screen real estate, yet it's not too big to be used with one hand which is important for me. The 2560*1440 resolution is very sharp with bright colors. I keep it on default 40% brightness and it still looks amazing. The form factor of the phone is very nice too.
Battery life:
This phone has a 3000 mAh battery. This phone seems very efficient in power consumption so far. I've been using it with normal usage - GPS, Whatsapp chat, surfing the net, some calls - and I was able to get 36 hours of usage with about 30% battery remaining. So that's almost 2 days on a full charge. The only negative thing about the battery is that it is not removable, so you won't be able to replace the battery and keep the phone forever.
Camera:
One of the main reasons that I purchased this phone was for the camera. It does not disappoint. The 13 MP rear-facing camera takes sharp and detailed pictures. Shooting in HDR mode creates even better, super high resolution pictures. The front-facing selfie camera is very good too. It's not often that you see a front-facing camera with 4 MP. Usually, they are horrible with 1MP or 2MP. I don't take selfies because i think they're silly, but it's still good to have this camera available.
GPS:
I'm very happy with the GPS on this phone. I get a GPS lock on the satellites instantly, so there is no wait time for Google Maps to find the GPS signal. I had problems with a previous Samsung phone regarding GPS locking or lack thereof, so I'm pleased here.
Operating System:
The phone comes with MIUI V6. The UI is quite clean. The only drawback is that this phone is still on Android 4.4 when other phones are now on Android 5.0 or Android M. Honestly, it makes little difference to me as most people outside of Android developers would not be able to tell the difference between the two operating systems.
So aside from the non-removable battery, I think Xiaomi has done a fantastic job with the design and performance of this phone. I'm glad I decided on the purchase of this phone!Quality Price Value - I LOVE IT

I have to say, I LOVE IT! apart from the body, Xiaomi did a great job with its version of EMU software over the android. For those coming from an Iphone, you would feel right at home with this device because they have completely removed the android app tray and every app installed shows up like how it would on an IOS. The software is lively, but feels more like IOS than an android. So if you are coming from an iphone, you'll feel right at home. Apart from that, I love the themes that you can use to customize your device.

1, Settings>Gallery>Clear Cached thumbnails
2, Security App>Cleaner, "Cleanup" the unnecessary things.
3, Settings>Installed Apps>Gallery, select "Clear Data" also "Clear Data" of "System Launcher" (Note: This will not delete any image so you can do it but clearing data of "System Launcher" will collapse home screen alignment.)
4, Updater>Options (three dots on the right top)>Reboot to recovery mode>English>Wipe&Reset>Wipe Cache.
Reboot the device then check.

Even after installing Applock from playstore and enabling the applock service.
It turns off after locking the phone
1.Install Applock from Playstore
2. Enable it.
3. Select the apps to be locked
4. Lock the phone and unlock it after sometime.

- Almost every time I try to wake the phone it does not react. When I press the power button shortly - nothing happens. If I press it again the screen flashes for half a second and turns off. It seems like some kind of animation for waking up is not working correctly?
It's really annoying because I have to press the button like insane, hoping that the phone will wake up. Sometimes (very rarely) if I wait about 10-15 seconds after pressing the power button the screen appears (very rarely!). If I hold down the power button as if I wanted to turn it off, the phone wakes with the power-off options. i can abort those and unlock the screen, so I guess this is some kind of a workaround for this problem but even that sometimes does not work.
It started to happen after I upgraded my phone MIUI version from 6 to 7 using MiFlash (other methods did not work). Today I even tried to update MIUI using the Updater app and it downloaded an update, installed it via MiRecovery. but the version I ended up is the same as the previous one - 7.0.5.0(KHCMICI) and the bug is still here. - Xiaomi Device

I just upgraded my Mi Note Pro to MIUI7 and i installed Google Now application too.
I enabled and configured the feature of Google now to response at "Ok Google", even in lock screen, but i have a strange issue, when my phone it's plugged on, it works fine, even locked. But the problem appears, when i unplugg the device, it works fine during the screen it's not locked, but when i lock it, it stops working (but the process it's NOT killed) and i get no response. Even if i unlock screen, it doesn't works again until i open again Google Now or any other mic Google app (i.e.: Google Keyboard voice to text feature or Google Translator by voice, etc)
I read all the threads about Google Now, and i did almost everything, but i cant solve the problem.
Hot Word detection settings are enabled to work from Any Screen and Lock screen
The App have permission on everything in the App settings.
The App is added in Auto-Start in the Security App
The App is unchecked on memory tab, so the app it's locked on memory.
I create a new profile on Security>Battery with never clean memory
I went to Settings > additional settings > Battery & performance > Manage apps battery ussage and I unrestrict it, by unchecking Google application. (also tried to uncheck battery ussage administrator for apps)
I think the trouble comes from some battery/energy consumption, because when plugged on it's working fine, but i can't find the issue.
This is making me crazy. Has anyone any idea?

Even though this is (or was) the chinese version, which is the one I got , it works perfectly for me so I'm giving it 5 stars, I've never feel in love so fast for a device, not even for an iPhone, and I have to say, I've used iPhones for four years straight, my only concern was how big it was but after a week it felt nothing but totally normal for me, some times of course it feels a little big, it's a solid 5 stars product for me.

Phone came fast. Was very well packaged. Luckily there is quite a bit on the internet about this phone. So, for instance, I found out how to correctly install google play on it. I did find it almost funny that you can't use voice commands because the phone only understands chinese. Battery like seems pretty good, Phone is nice looking and fits well in my hand. Sim and memory card were easy to install and worked easily. I'm very happy with it. Do wish they made it easier to get rid of chinese only apps.

I have ordered Mi Note Pro on a Wednesday afternoon with English installed. By Saturday it was shipped and Monday morning was in Cyprus. I collected it on Tuesday morning. Excellent service

well i have bought this cellphone and it has arrived to me, when i turned it on, i was able to see that it`s fast, very pretty product. Internet surfing and connection is very fast and smooth such as live video streaming so that one can watch movies continuously for hours when plugged in power. The fully charged batt can run this for 2-3 hours with all the other programs are running.

I have had xiaomi mi note pro phone for a week now. So far, I must say that I am very impressed! Here are my thoughts:
Screen and size:
The 5.7" screen hits the sweet spot for me. The 5.7" screen offers good screen real estate, yet it's not too big to be used with one hand which is important for me. The 2560*1440 resolution is very sharp with bright colors. I keep it on default 40% brightness and it still looks amazing. The form factor of the phone is very nice too.
Battery life:
This phone has a 3000 mAh battery. This phone seems very efficient in power consumption so far. I've been using it with normal usage - GPS, Whatsapp chat, surfing the net, some calls - and I was able to get 36 hours of usage with about 30% battery remaining. So that's almost 2 days on a full charge. The only negative thing about the battery is that it is not removable, so you won't be able to replace the battery and keep the phone forever.
Camera:
One of the main reasons that I purchased this phone was for the camera. It does not disappoint. The 13 MP rear-facing camera takes sharp and detailed pictures. Shooting in HDR mode creates even better, super high resolution pictures. The front-facing selfie camera is very good too. It's not often that you see a front-facing camera with 4 MP. Usually, they are horrible with 1MP or 2MP. I don't take selfies because i think they're silly, but it's still good to have this camera available.
GPS:
I'm very happy with the GPS on this phone. I get a GPS lock on the satellites instantly, so there is no wait time for Google Maps to find the GPS signal. I had problems with a previous Samsung phone regarding GPS locking or lack thereof, so I'm pleased here.
Operating System:
The phone comes with MIUI V6. The UI is quite clean. The only drawback is that this phone is still on Android 4.4 when other phones are now on Android 5.0 or Android M. Honestly, it makes little difference to me as most people outside of Android developers would not be able to tell the difference between the two operating systems.
So aside from the non-removable battery, I think Xiaomi has done a fantastic job with the design and performance of this phone. I'm glad I decided on the purchase of this phone!Quality Price Value - I LOVE IT

I have to say, I LOVE IT! apart from the body, Xiaomi did a great job with its version of EMU software over the android. For those coming from an Iphone, you would feel right at home with this device because they have completely removed the android app tray and every app installed shows up like how it would on an IOS. The software is lively, but feels more like IOS than an android. So if you are coming from an iphone, you'll feel right at home. Apart from that, I love the themes that you can use to customize your device.
