Few weeks ago, the Chinese electronics company ‘Xiaomi’ launched a new smartphone titled Xiaomi Redmi Pro (a.k.a Xiaomi Redmi Note 4) in their native land. And now, the 5th largest phone manufacturer is gearing up to release their brand-new mid-range handset globally.
The latest franchise in the Note series will be Xiaomi Redmi Note Pro Mini for which there is no official statement or news anywhere on the web and media. Except, XiaomiDevice who reportedly had some leaked designs and specifications details about the phone on his website Weibo.
Talking about the specs of the handset, then Xiaomi Redmi Note Pro Mini will be featuring a 5.2 inch Full HD display panel. It is a little small or says compact in design when compared to Redmi Pro. This guy is powered by a Snapdragon Qualcomm 652 chipset.
Digging deep into the performance insights, the smartphone is likely to feature an octa-core processor consisting of four ARM Cortex A-72 and the other half with Cortex A-53 (best power-efficient chipsets till date).
It is still a speculation but this device will be introduced in 3 variants, these having different RAMs and internal storage capacities. The first will rock a 3GB RAM with 32 GB internal memory, second equipped with 4GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage, last but not least the fourth with 4GB RAM and a huge 128 GB internal space.
Talking about the other critical features like camera, battery etc. Then the device will be featuring a single lens 13 MP shooter backed up by a dual-tone LED flash. The handset sports a 2.5D glass over the display which would enhance the overall viewing experience. A fingerprint reader has also housed in the home button (tactile key) + two capacitive touch buttons for the back and recent operations.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note Pro Mini would be somewhere around CNY 1,499 (about $225) for the 3 GB/32 GB model, and the worth of 4 GB/32 GB is likely to be CNY 1,699 (about $255). The top model variant having 4 gigs of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage will be sold at around CYN 1,899 (about $285).
