According to latest leaks, Xiaomi is already working on its Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X smartphone. In a leaked image of the ‘About phone’ section of the alleged device, the phone is clearly earmarked as the Note 4X. The phone in the images is running on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with MIUI 8.1 running on top.
Named the Redmi Note 4X, the phone is said to be a spruced up version of the purported Redmi Note 4 that will also launch in India 'soon'. The leak reveals the phone will run a Snapdragon 653 chipset with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. Rests of the specifications are expected to be similar, like the display size, camera sensor and other features.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 sports a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display with a pixel density of 401ppi. The Redmi Note 4 is powered by a deca-core MediaTek Helio X20 SoC coupled with Mali-T880 MP4 GPU. This Xiaomi smartphone comes with support for expandable storage via microSD card (up to 128GB).
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Pro will be making its debut in India sometime in January 2017, according to online reports. Note 4 is the successor to the company’s popular Redmi Note 3 that was one of its best selling smartphones in the country.
