Those who are closely watching the Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi will know that it has announced three devices last October: the Xiaomi VR, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 and the Xiaomi Mi MIX. This last is a concept phone that has generated immense excitement and recent leaks reveal that the device could also come in white.
The pictures on the internet show a white colour version of the smartphone by Xiaomi, along with speculations of a 5.5 inch Mi Mix Nano. Weibo leaks suggest that the Mi Mix Nano will have the 5.5-inch display screen and powered by the Snapdragon 821 processor along with a 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. A blurry picture of the Mi Mix Nano smartphone was shared on Weibo and the price has been rumoured to be around 3000 Yuan. The picture gives no indication of the rumoured smartphone yet. A GizmoChina leak shows off a white coloured Mi Mix, though for the company it is yet a concept smartphone but has already become very popular because of the grand specifications it provides at a lesser price.
Unfortunately, Mi MIX is only available in China where it is getting wiped out in store shelves every time stocks get replenished. According to Xiaomi, its production capability is severely hampered by the availability of the handset's ceramic body. It is not yet clear whether the addition of a new color option will help address the high demand.
