The successor to the Xiaomi Mi5 and Xiaomi Mi 5S is expected in 2017. Rumors regarding its actual release date have begun to appear in recent days. According to the latest rumors, the Xiaomi Mi6 will have a dual camera on the back.
According to the sketches there is a Type-C USB port is placed on the bottom of the phone along with two external speaker grills. A fingerprint sensor is also expected at the home button below the display in the front of the device. At the back side there is a Mi logo in the bottom half. On the Top left corner their is a DUAL camera setup.
As per the report, the Xiaomi Mi6 will feature a ceramic body and 5.2-inch LCD display with a 2.5D glass. It will have the same camera resolution as that of recently announced Sony Xperia XZ Premium. The pricing of Mi 6 have also leaked before. There will be three variants - 4GB RAM with 32GB internal memory, 4GB with 64GB internal memory and 6GB RAM with 128GB internal memory. Price will be in the range of 1999 Yuan (which is approximately Rs 19,362) to 2500 Yuan (which is approximately Rs 24,221) for all the variants. The Xiaomi Mi6 Pro variant will come with a ceramic body.
If the reports are true, Xiaomi will announce the Mi6 to the public on April 16. According to analysts, Xiaomi will sell the Mi 6 at a higher price compared to the Mi 5.
