The Xiaomi Mi Max has been confirmed by China’s TENAA – the local equivalent of the USA’s FCC – which means it definitely exists. That certification process means images of the phone have also entered the public domain.
Here are the the Xiaomi Mi Max specs that we’re expecting:

- 16-megapixel rear-facing camera with dual-tone LED flash
- 5-megapixel front-facing camera
- Fingerprint sensor
- 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS support
- 4,500mAh battery
XiaomiDevice reports that the phone will price at 1,299 yuan, which – at current rates – is equivalent to around £140 or $200. Unfortunately, it’s not yet clear where Xiaomi plans to sell the phone – don’t hold your breath, UK buyers.
