The Android 7.0 Nougat update flavored with MIUI 9 is yet to be arrival officially. Here is a list of Xiaomi Phones that are expected to get the update.
The update would be coming to Mi models such as Xiaomi Mi5, Xiaomi Mi 5S, Xiaomi Mi 5S Plus, Xiaomi MI MIX, Xiaomi Mi Note 2, Mi 4C, Mi Max, Mi Note Pro and Mi Note. In the Redmi Note lineup, it is expected to be available for Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 and Redmi Note 3. It is likely that the MediaTek version of Redmi Note 3 will not receive the update.
The Redmi phones such as Redmi Pro Redmi 3, 3S, 3A, 3S Prime, 4, 4A, and 4 Prime are also expected to receive the software update. Among Xiaomi tablets the Mi Pad 2 is the only one that is pegged to get Android N.
There is no official confirmation on when the update would be available for the above listed Xiaomi Device. However, rumors suggest that the update would be available by second quarter of this year. Since Xiaomi has been in slow in releasing software update for its phones, it is likely that the arrival of Android Nougat MIUI 9 may get delayed.
