If the new round of leaks is to be believed, Xiaomi will be unveiling a Ceramic Edition of the upcoming Xiaomi Mi6. The information comes straight from popular Chinese analyst Kevin Wang.
Kevin Wang, an analyst from China has stated that Xiaomi will be launching a special edition Xiaomi Mi6, may be Mi6 Pro version, which will be made from ceramic, similar to Xiaomi Mi MIX. Since the production output for ceramic is quite low, Xiaomi will be making lesser of those models since premium models sell in fewer units.
We’ve seen a ton of Mi6 rumors thus far, and the device is expected to be announced before the end of March or April, depending on which rumor you’d like to believe. The Xiaomi Mi 6 is rumored to ship in a couple of variants, but all of those variants will be fueled by the Snapdragon 835 64-bit octa-core SoC, and the processor will not be underclocked, at least according to the latest rumors. The Xiaomi Mi 6 will probably sport a 5.2-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) display, while the ceramic model might ship with a QHD (2560 x 1440) panel. The Xiaomi Mi 6 variants will sport 4GB and 6GB of RAM, respectively, and several internal storage variants will probably be available.
Xiaomi is expected to be announced next month on April 16. The pricing of Mi 6 has also leaked before. Price will be in the range of 1999 Yuan (which is approximately Rs 19,362) to 2500 Yuan (which is approximately Rs 24,221) for all the variants. The 6GB RAM variant Xiaomi Mi6 Pro will come with a ceramic body.
