Xiaomi is soon to launch its much-anticipated flagship smartphone for 2017, Xiaomi Mi6. The MWC event did not see any information about its release from Xiaomi. Now recent reports reveal that the phone is set to enter the market next month on April 16.

Now a new report claims Xiaomi will launch Mi6 on April 16. The phone is said to house a Snapdragon 835 chipset with base model having 4GB RAM and 32GB storage and a top variant expected with 6GB RAM and 128 GB storage.

Mi6 is expected to run Android Nougat 7.0 with Xiaomi's MIUI 9 on top. There could be budget variants of the phone housing a Helio X30 chip and there could be not two, but three variants of the smartphone codenamed 'Youth', 'Standard' and 'Premium'.

As an addition to the regular release, Xiaomi is expected to launch a ceramic body for the variant too, like it did for Xiaomi Mi Note 2.

As per the report from Chinese website XiaomiDevice, the Xiaomi Mi6 Pro is expected to have a curved display, ceramic body and a high-end read camera like Xperia XZ Premium.
