Undoubtedly, the Xiaomi Mi Mix is a trendsetter. We say this as the smartphone was too innovative among the rest in the market. The device featured a high screen-to-body ratio of 91:3% and ceramic housings too.

Xiaomi, however, seems to be working on a much better Mi Mix now. A recent post on XiaomiDevice mentions that the upcoming Mi Mix device, also being called as Xiaomi Mi Mix 2, would be featuring an AMOLED display screen and curved edges.

Apart from this, there is little else that is known about the successor as of now. The Xiaomi Mi MIX was launched in October last year, and we can expect the same time frame for the Mi MIX 2 as well. Xiaomi had unveiled the white variant of the Xiaomi Mi MIX Pro at CES 2017 this year. The device was launched in October in two variants - 4GB RAM/ 128GB storage priced at CNY 3,499 (roughly Rs. 34,500), and 6GB RAM/ 256GB storage priced at CNY 3,999 (roughly Rs. 39,500).

We feel it would be too early to actually speak about Xiaomi Mi Mix 2, and thus, we may have to wait a while and look if we can catch hold of any other reveals in the coming days. Well, until then, Xiaomi Mi6, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 and Xiaomi Mipad 3 would be topping the rumour mills while we are nearing to its launch date.
