Xiaomi is currently working on a bezel-free device called Xiaomi Mi Mix 2, there are rumors that Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 may be unveiled in October this year.
Images revealed in its teaser shows that the MIX 2 does seem to closely resemble the Xiaomi Mi Mix’s display. Bezel-less smartphones are rare in the market today and the Mi Mix screen is one of the most interesting displays that come to mind.
The upcoming device is also anticipated to come in active matrix organic light emitting diode (AMOLED) display screen, which will be enhanced further by curved edges. The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 is also speculated to come with a small black bezel at the bottom for the fingerprint sensor. If this is true, it will be one of the changes seen in the upcoming phablet, as the Xiaomi Mi MIX houses this scanner at the back of the device.
At the moment, no other information is known regarding the rest of the specifications of Xiaomi Mi Mix 2. The Xiaomi Mi Mix comes in a 6.4-inch display screen and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821. It is possible that the upcoming device will retain the same screen size, but its processor will be upgraded to a more powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon chip or Xiaomi's newest in-house chip called Surge 1.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX Pro currently has one of the most impressive screens, due to short supply, the Mi Mix is hard to get elsewhere other than from within China, either from Xiaomi itself or other electronics distributors.
