Chinese tech giant Xiaomi has confirmed the launch of Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, the next iteration of the top selling Redmi Note 3, at an event that will be held in New Delhi on January 19.
The Redmi Note 4 was launched in China back in August last year in two variants - 2GB of RAM/ 16GB inbuilt storage model was priced at CNY 899 (approximately Rs. 9,000), while the 3GB of RAM/ 64GB storage model was priced at CNY 1,199 (approximately Rs. 12,000). The smartphone is expected to launch in India in the same price vicinity.
The Redmi Note 4 was already been launched in China and the company is now launching the same in India. The Redmi Note 4X resembles the same look and design as that of the presently available Xiaomi Redmi Note 3. The Redmi Note 4 will feature a Mediatek Helio X20 deca-core chipset with a Mail-T880 graphics unit and a variation of RAM and storage ranging between 2GB/16GB and 3GB/34GB.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Pro sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with PDAF (phase detection autofocus), an f/2.0 aperture, and dual-tone LED flash. The 5-megapixel front camera of Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 sports an 85-degree wide angle lens. It supports expandable storage via microSD card (up to 128GB) in a hybrid dual-SIM card configuration.
